  • Barricane Beach Woolacombe

Is half way between Woolacombe beach and the road to Mortehoe. A steep path down to a secluded cove between steep cliffs and giant rocks randomly jutting out with rare shells attached that have been washed in from the gulf stream. A romantic Greek like cove with little nooks to sunbathe. When the tide is in it becomes a beautiful lagoon to swim in between the imposing giant rocks. In the evening as the sunsets and the waters lap along your toes you can enjoy an amazing curry from the Barricane cafe. Take your own wine.
