Speke Mills Mouth Hartland
Waterfalls, rock pools and ship wrecks. A photographers dream.
Woody Bay Martinhoe
An ancient cobbled track leads to waterfall and beyond to a semi natural rock pool to swim in stunning Exmoor surroundings.

Saunton Golf Club is ranked in the top 100 in the world and many famous people have played there. Located just 2 miles from Braunton there are 2 championship 18 hole courses to choose. Many golfers come to do them both. Set amongst the Braunton Burrows and views over Saunton Beach makes for a feel good experience on location alone, with the vast dune system one could build 15 golf courses.
North Devon is a hot spot for surfers because there are so many beaches with the right conditions for great surf as well as for learning and all close by.
Has a gentle wave and ideal for learners and long boarders.
Has one of the best beach breaks with low tide barrels but gets busy in summer.
Is right to left and is great on all tides. Plenty of space .
Is sheltered for a cleaner surf and is down from Woolacombe but less people.

Ever wanted to gallop on a horse across the beach ? There are many stables but nearest and best are Roylands Riding Stables in Croyde and Mullacott Farm near Ilfracombe both offer beach rides as well as country. Mullacott also have one of the best quad bike courses in the country.
Fly Like A Bird literally next to the Buzzards looking down over the North Devon countryside and Woolacombe Bay. A wonderful breathtaking experience. Recommended tandem ride with ” Fly Like A Bird ” £129 for this experience.
Baggy Point is the perfect place for the adrenaline sport of coasteering and just 2 miles from here for progressive jumps and sea caves book Extreme Coasteering.

Too many to list but a short list is Spoonbill, Little Egret, Peregrines, Heron, kingfisher, Wigeon, Teal, Merlin, Kestrel, Buzzard, Shoveler, Pintail and many more reside in this beautiful North Devon countryside, and estuaries, beaches and woodlands.
